Since last year the Taiwanese market has been introduced to the Spanish food promotion in Asia. The promotion in Taiwan could be possibly led by funds of “Plan Agroalimentario 2010-2012, coordinated by the Spanish Institute for Foreign Trade (ICEX), the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture (MARM), the Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (FIAB), the Spanish Council for Chambers of Commerce and 16 different Spanish autonomous regions. We are convinced that the participation and promotion of various government agencies from Spain will bring Taiwan closer to the Spanish cuisine culture.

Over the past years, the Spanish trade promotion in Taiwan has been focused on enhancing the relationship between Spanish manufacturers and Taiwanese retailers. Nowadays, with some of the most emblematic Spanish products in Taiwan, it is time to increase the Taiwanese consumers’ knowledge on Spanish food culture through your publications.
